As many have noticed there has been some issues with this years Kombat Kon. The most outstanding issue being that a few of the actors have announced they will not be attending this year's convention. While we had originally confirmed with them, that they would be in attendance, situations have changed and so far four of the confirmed actors will not be present. While we have attempted several alternatives to make the show continue its growth to be bigger and better than previous years, we have become unable to do so. With the show date growing close, the shrinking time frame of it all has made us come to the only reasonable conclusion. This year, we must cancel Kombat Kon.
We know many people have already made travel arrangements to join us, and we are deeply saddened by the current situation.
We do have a solution that will hopefully be very satisfying. Instead of Kombat Kon 2018, we will hold Shang Tsung's Fight Night at the Galloping Ghost Arcade. Many of the actors will be there signing autographs, as well as talking with and spending time with the fans. We will be hosting tournaments with prizes, and even offering a few surprises.
If you have already purchased a ticket to Kombat Kon 2018, your ticket fee will be reimbursed and you will receive a complimentary pass to Shang Tsung's Fight Night. If you had not purchased a ticket, admission to Shang Tsung's Fight Night is covered by the general admission of $20 to get into the Arcade.
Going back to the roots of Mortal Kombat scene here at the Galloping Ghost Arcade, Shang Tsung's Fight Night will be a smaller more intimate event. Putting the fans and actors closer and with more interaction. The big differences are, there will not be; vendors, cosplay contests (although people are still welcome to cosplay at the event, and there will be no after party / VIP tickets.

Phillip Ahn - Shang Tsung (Mortal Kombat II)
John Parrish - Jax (Mortal Kombat II & UMK3)
John Turk - Subzero, Shang Tsung, Scorpion, Reptile (UMK3)
Brian Glynn - Shao Kahn (MKII & UMK3)
Sal Divata - Nightwolf, Sektor, Cyrax, Smoke (UMK3)
Chris Alexander - Johnny Cage (Mortal Kombat Trilogy)
Ho Sung Pak -Liu Kang (MK & MKII) (possibly but not confirmed)
